City Club – Dr. Lori Barber

Dr. Lori Barber will be speaking to the City Club audience on Nov. 14th in a lunch meeting from noon-1:30pm, in the Multipurpose room at the Bennion Student Union building on ISU campus in Idaho Falls.

Dr. Lori Barber has been appointed as the second President of the College of Eastern Idaho (CEI). Since 2019, she served as Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, previously working as Dean of General Education. Dr. Barber holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University and two degrees from Idaho State University. She led the development and approval of CEI’s two applied baccalaureate degrees, making it the only community college in Idaho to offer these programs. Under her leadership, CEI achieved successful accreditation reaffirmation, and she contributed to the Idaho Launch Initiative, guiding $75 million in support for Idaho high school seniors.

RSVP for lunch needs to be no later than 4pm Nov. 11th. Lunch begins at noon, our speaker will begin at 12:30 and Q&A will begin at 1:00pm.

Lunch for Members is $20, for Non-Members is $25 and for the Gallery is $5 (no lunch), or you may choose to sponsor a full table for 7 for $140. Gallery seating available for presale or can be purchased on the day of event. Parking fees for the Northwest Parking lot are waved during this event.
