Museum of Idaho Speaker Series Event w/ Judith Seydel

The Japanese Friendship Garden, situated on a rocky island in the Snake River at the heart of Idaho Falls, holds historical significance as the site of the first bridge to span the Snake River in Eastern Idaho. This garden was established to commemorate thirty years of association with Idaho Falls’ Japanese sister city, Tokai-Mura, and to promote global friendship. Discover the history of the island’s development, its importance to Idaho Falls, and the creation of the garden at this MOI speaker series event.

About the speaker: Judith Seydel was the Master Gardener of the Japanese Friendship Garden project and is excited to share details on the history of the island and the Friendship Garden project at Museum Club.
