Parking Enforcement Zone
Our parking regulations apply within the historic downtown core: from Yellowstone Highway to Memorial Drive, and Cliff Street to D Street.
Select lots and on-street, 2-hour parking 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Open parking after 6:00 p.m. No parking after 2:00 a.m.
Pay to park at the paystation; you will need to know your license plate #. $1 per hour or $5 for a one Day Pass. Free parking with validation. No over night parking allowed.
Private parking lots open to public parking after 6 p.m. No over night parking allowed.
Pay to park. $2/hour with a daily max of $12. Validation available. No over night parking allowed.
*We are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles, persons or contents by fire, theft, collision or any other damage or claims not caused by our own negligence or misconduct or beyond our control. If there is damage or injury caused by our negligence, etc., as stated above, said damage must be reported to us before the car is taken from the parking area. We are not responsible for articles left in vehicles.

Planning to Stay Longer?

- Free all-day parking lot off Yellowstone Avenue, along the railroad tracks.
- Free all-day parking behind the buildings south off Broadway, between Shoup & Park (the first few rows are 2-hour parking – please look for the all-day parking signs)
- Most on-street parking north of Constitution Way is all day parking.
- Free all-day parking at the corner of D Street and Park Avenue, across the street on D Street, corner of E Street and Capital, and on the corner of Constitution Way and Shoup Avenue.

Free Two-Hour On-Street Parking
- The two-hour on-street parking regulations apply to the streets located within the Downtown Business Improvement District: from Yellowstone Highway to Memorial Drive, and Cliff Street to D Street.
- Remove the sub-heading On-Street Parking: 2-Hour Limit
- Perfect for Customers: On-street parking allows customers to have two hours of free parking.
- Enjoy the stroll: You might park just a block or two away, offering a charming walk to enjoy our historic buildings, flowers, and window shopping.
- Important Rule: No changes.
- People with Disabilities: The 2-hour on-street parking time limit does not apply to individuals with disabilities displaying a legal disability placard in their window. They will not receive a citation for parking on-street longer than 2-hours.
- Quick Load Zones: Need a super-fast stop? Use one of the ten 20-minute loading zones near the intersections. These zones are available for everybody to use, including the service industry and the public.

Pay to Park Lots
The IFDDC operates four pay-to-park parking lots in the heart of downtown.

- A Lot along Yellowstone Highway between A and B Streets with the entrance coming in off A Street. Rates: $1 per hour or $5 per day.
- B Lot at 451 B Street (near the southeast corner of Capital and B Street). $1 per hour or $5 per day.
- The Broadway development, 22 surface spaces, behind Smokin’ Fins. Rate: $2 per hour or $12 for 12 hours.
- The Capital Lot is reserved for parking permits only; hourly parking is not available in that lot.
- Downtown Businesses that validate for parking: A Street Soup Market, Idaho Falls Arts Council, Bella Capelli Salon, Bybee’s Alignment, Bramwell Chiropractic, Eve & Ivy, The Downtown Event Center (The DEC), Ford’s, The Hair Co., Healing Hands, Hopkins Roden, Idaho Mountain Trading, Jimmy’s All Season Angler, O’Brien Tomchak, Pachangas, Shoup Office Suites, SnakeBite, Smokin’ Fins, T&T Reporting, Urban Nook, Raymond James Financial
- Overnight parking is not allowed without permission.
Residential Parking
- Residents must show proof of residence in the downtown area: Yellowstone Highway west to Memorial Drive and Cliff Street north to and including G Street.
- This permit only applies to the off-street parking lot signed for all-day parking south of Broadway, between Park Avenue and Shoup Avenue.
- This permit is not valid for any 2-hour on-street parking spaces that are for customer parking.
