Powering A Vibrant Downtown
The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation (IFDDC) is the driving force behind our thriving city center. As a 501(c)(6) non-profit, we proudly manage the Downtown Idaho Falls Business Improvement District (BID) on behalf of the City.
Purpose: To cultivate a historic downtown that shines as the leading regional hub for commerce, culture, and leisure, welcoming both residents and visitors alike.
What we do and how we’re funded: Supported by BID assessments, events, sponsorships, and grants, the IFDDC dedicates its efforts to:

Creating Unforgettable Experiences: We organize signature events like St. Paddy’s on Park, Oktoberfest, Crawloween, Find Santa’s Puppy, and the magical Tree Lighting Celebration. We also champion retail-focused events such as First Thursday Gallery Walks and Ladies’ Shopping Days.

Showcasing Downtown's Best: We actively promote Downtown Idaho Falls through our tourism map, year-round advertising, and a robust online presence on Facebook and Instagram. Our gift certificate program makes it easy to support local businesses!

Maintaining Downtown's Charm: From management of sidewalks, private alleys, on-street parking, and parking lots to overseeing over 200 vibrant hanging flower baskets, ground pots, and festive holiday decor on 90+ lampposts – we keep downtown looking its best!
