Idaho Falls Symphony FAMILY CONCERT: CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS
October 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
WHAT’S INTERESTING ABOUT THIS CONCERT?
We offer special pricing for our Family Concerts: $10 per adult, $5 per child ages 12-18 (or college students with ID), and all children under 12 are free!
Starting at 1:00pm on the second floor of the Willard Arts Center, we’ll hold an Instrument Petting Zoo, where children (and parents!) can hold and play musical instruments before seeing them played on stage.
Camille Saint-Saëns procrastinated working on his Third Symphony in order to write The Carnival of the Animals because it was more fun to write.
THOMAS SAYS: “WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE KIDS IN COSTUME! EXCITED TO SEE WHO LOOKS THE MOST LIKE ONE OF THE CHARACTERS IN CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS. HAVE FUN!”
BE SURE TO GET THERE EARLY! STARTING AT 1PM, JOIN US FOR A FREE INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO!
Please note that this concert is at the Colonial Theater. Review the options for parking downtown here so you can plan accordingly!
